Impulsive

In the battering cold I could surely see
a slender figure standing ahead of me
i crept forward , swimming in the wind
i saw a woman weeping in agony

I saw her and when she did,
she jolted straight away
as if my sight gave her billion watts
and made this night to day

I began to speak , when she came close enough
so i could see her how she were
her astonishing beauty , her silk laden hairs
her aura then made me shudder

I said something, but it got lost in mid air
I noticed she stood tall.
Her eyes that wept were like a unseen forest
with a surreal waterfall

She kept one hand on her left,
and waved a little with the right.
I showed emotions of despair to her,
was clueless of her sight.

She got saddened , and maneuvered in haste,
but she remained in my vicinity
She wept more , and I wish I knew
the secret to this mystery

She made a sign of a fist with her left,
and placed it on her right.
It hit me with the force of shuttle,
and I lay like a stone in fright.

I knew this was no movie,
and no game is this vivid.
If only I had been a little more astute,
I would have found;this woman was a mute.

With a river of thoughts that encircled all around,
I searched in my promiximty , so that someone may be found.
I knew I couldn't deal with her alone,
No living creatures other then us were on the ground.

"I am so sorry". I maintained.
"I do not understand the signs".
I wish I could have done some more
Or had learnt how to read minds.

She disliked what she heard
and helplessly looked at me.
She made a pattern in air.
And I could but only stare

I marched close by , marched all about
To find a stem or a stick
for if she could draw her problem out
I could go to all lengths to solve it

I motioned her to draw on the ice,
the soft canvas that we stood on.
She didn't appear a bit but surprised,
and now the confusion from her face was gone.

I saw what she drew , a house and a bed,
how to relate them was a question in my head.
I looked at her , and she looked back expecting,
she was sure , now her thrist would be fed.

I knelt then my self , and inspected the whole design,
I choked on my breath , and fell back resigned.
I breathed heavily , and stared upon the sky,
With shock I guess , my end was now assigned.

The drawing on the ice , that I eagerly browsed,
was infact , a drawing of my own house.
Who is this women I brawled to me,
I got up again to face the fairy.

She stood there still, calm and versed,
Her eyes , as if had captured the universe,
Before I began , I knew what it was about,
I tried to stand straight , avoiding a blackout.

Few years ago my wife felt terminally ill,
She was infected with a disease , known enough to kill.
On her bed , which was also drawn on the ground,
Me and her did the final drill.

She had lost her speech , and she talked with eyes,
I told her I'd love her forever and goodbyes.
she desperately tried to say something in return.
but were interrupted as the angels took her from all sides.

"I know " , I said. "I know you do"
I knew she wanted to say what to who
"I know you wished to say , you love me too"
I had my eyes in tears , "I still love you"

She had been restless perhaps to make her say,
for what she had been interrupted that day,
When i told her i knew she loved me too,
I saw my fairy smile,
and saw her fly away.
